Hours: Variety of posts available
1 PTx9 hours per week or 2 PT x 4 and 5 hours
Wednesday 10:30am until 3:30pm
Friday 9am till 1pm or 10:30am until 2:30pm
Location: Grangemouth
Rate of Pay: £12.60 per hour Gross as per the current Scottish Living Wage
Description: A care worker / Personal assistant is required by the employer, a 34-year-old woman, to assist with their personal and social care requirements. They are looking for someone who is reliable, flexible and trustworthy.
Tasks will include:
• Assisting to access activities in the community
• Assisting with Personal Care (showering only)
• Assisting with preparing meals
• Moving and assisting
• Assisting with attending appointments
• Assisting person with attending to pets
• Assisting the person with attending to general housework
• Any other duties that are relevant and pertinent to the role of carer / personal assistant.
Driving License is essential
The successful applicant should have a good history and experience of providing care and support.
Experience of working with children/older people/people with disabilities/mental health.
SVQ Level 2 or above in health and social care if possible but not required
You must have membership of Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and be willing to share these details with your employer
