A leading law firm is seeking a Legal Associate to join its specialist Employment team, focusing on innovative and high-growth businesses.This role offers the opportunity to work closely with start-ups, scale-ups and fast-growth organisations across sectors such as technology and life sciences. You will advise on a broad range of employment and talent-related matters, both in the UK and internationally, while developing strong, long-term client relationships.The position is well suited to a junior to mid-level lawyer who is keen to broaden their technical expertise, take increasing ownership of client matters, and play an active role in the growth of a specialist practice.Key responsibilities include:Advising businesses on contentious and non-contentious employment law mattersSupporting clients on global talent, workforce and HR issuesAssisting on employment aspects of early-stage investment and growth transactionsWorking closely with entrepreneurial clients and their advisersTaking increasing responsibility for client relationshipsContributing to the development and growth of a specialist employment practiceKey requirements:Qualified lawyer with up to 4 years' experience in employment lawStrong drafting, advisory and communication skillsInterest in working with innovative, fast-growth businessesAbility to manage workload independently in a client-facing roleCommercial, pragmatic and proactive approachWillingness to collaborate across teams and locationsWhy apply?Exposure to high-quality, complex employment workOpportunity to work closely with innovative and fast-growing businessesEarly responsibility and client ownershipClear development and progression opportunitiesPlease contact Faith Kelly for a confidential discussion or apply within.
