* Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including budgets, forecasts and variance analyses.
* Summarise P&L variances to budget and help create action plans to address adverse trends.
* Collaborate with the site leadership team to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company and divisional objectives.
* Monitor and report on capital project planning and post implementation capital appraisals.
* Identify and monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s) to assess business performance and recommend corrective actions as needed.
* Assist in the preparation and management of the divisional and departmental budgets ensuring alignment with overall financials goals.
* Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision making on projects, investments and operational improvements.
* Lead and support multi- disciplinary teams from a finance perspective, in the execution of projects and business change programs. Act as an authority level on key programs and projects to ensure the appropriate financial analysis and rigor.
The Person:
* Qualified or nearly qualified CIMA with a strong background within the manufacturing sector.
* Enthusiastic, proactive and have a hands-on and structured approach to work.
* Excellent communication and business partnering skills.
* Strong IT skills, specifically on excel and ERP systems.
* Change management or continuous improvement mentality.
* Commercially aware, with a strong focus on controls and a high attention to detail.
* Proven capability of identifying and implementing process improvements.
* Self-motivated and deadline orientated with the ability to work under pressure.
* Previous experience within a high volume manufacturing background.
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.30pm / Friday 8am - 2pm
