Digital Communications Officer
Location: Home‑based with occasional travel to Memorial House, Coalville, Leicestershire and other locations
Hours: 35 hours per week, working Monday to Friday
Salary: £31,295 per annum (People & Strategy RFJ 4)
Contract: Permanent

About the team – and why now is such an exciting time to join
This is an exciting time to join emh Communications team. We’re strengthening how we connect with residents, colleagues, and stakeholders, and as part of this, we’re growing the team and creating three brand‑new roles:
* Digital Communications Officer
* Internal Communications Advisor
* External Communications Officer

You’ll join at a key moment, helping to establish ways of working, develop channels and make a real impact across the organisation.
The role
As our Digital Communications Officer, you’ll play a central role in delivering high quality, customer‑focused digital communications that support our services and strengthen our reputation.
You’ll manage and develop our digital channels including our website, intranet and social media ensuring content is clear, accessible, up to date and aligned with our values. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you’ll turn complex information into engaging digital content that works for our diverse audiences.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys combining creativity with insight, and who wants to be part of a growing, supportive communications team where ideas and innovation are encouraged.
About you
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has experience managing digital platforms such as websites, intranets and social media channels
* Is a confident, adaptable writer with the ability to tailor content for different audiences
* Understands the importance of accessibility and inclusive communication
* Enjoys working collaboratively and building strong relationships across teams
* Is curious, proactive and keen to help develop new ways of working in a growing team
Experience in housing, the public sector or a not‑for‑profit environment is welcomed but not essential.
