* Interim Management Accountant
* Charity | Bristol (Hybrid)
* 3-6-month contract | Qualified accountant
We're supporting a well-established charity based in Bristol with the appointment of an Interim Management Accountant to provide hands-on support across month-end, reporting and balance sheet control during a busy period. This role requires an experienced, qualified accountant who is comfortable operating in a hands-on environment and can hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of monthly management accounts to tight deadlines
* Delivery of meaningful variance analysis with clear explanations
* Support and improve the management accounts process, identifying efficiencies and best practice
* Reconciliation and review of key balance sheet accounts
* Support with data reconciliation across multiple systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency
* Provide ad-hoc support to the wider finance team as required
Candidate Profile
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
* Not a first role out of practice - requires prior industry or interim experience
* Strong management accounting and month-end ownership
* High level of attention to detail and a practical, hands-on approach
* Comfortable working with and reconciling data from separate systems
* Able to work independently and manage deadlines in a changeable environment
* Charity or not-for-profit experience is useful but not essential
Contract Details
* Duration: 3-6 months
* Location: Bristol (hybrid working)
* Start: ASAP / short notice preferred
