About the role:
The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 4 Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Croydon. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical care and support to our patients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Perform the role of Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician within a hospital setting, including conducting drug histories, assessing patients’ own drugs, ordering medications, providing patient counselling, labelling and dispensing medications accurately, and utilizing the JAC computer system effectively.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Essential: Post NVQ level 2 qualification with developmental experience in a range of dispensing. GPhC registration. Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) qualification.
* Desirable: Minimum of 2 years of NHS experience. Experience in a hospital setting, specifically in Medicines Management. Proficiency in labelling and dispensing medications. Availability to work throughout July & August.
