You’ll work with high-profile clients across a range of sectors, advising on complex and evolving issues including data protection, cyber risk and emerging technologies such as AI. This is an ideal role for a newly qualified solicitor or junior associate looking to build a niche, future‑proof specialism.
Role Summary
You will support on a broad mix of advisory and contentious matters within data privacy and cyber. Key responsibilities include:
* Advising on UK and international data protection frameworks and compliance
* Supporting clients on data governance, risk management and regulatory strategy
* Assisting with data breaches, cyber incidents and regulatory investigations
* Advising on the use of emerging technologies, including AI and digital platforms
* Supporting on cross‑border data issues and international data transfers
* Working closely with clients to deliver practical, commercially focused solutions
The Person
We’re keen to speak with Solicitors who:
* Are newly qualified or up to 2 years PQE, ideally with exposure to data privacy, IT or regulatory work
* Have a strong interest in data, technology and innovation
* Are commercially aware with a pragmatic, solution‑focused approach
* Are strong communicators with excellent attention to detail
* Are eager to develop within a specialist, high‑growth area of law
