Reception SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Hailsham, East Sussex / Part Time Teaching Assistant / Salary £385.00 - £400.00 Per Week
Job Duties:
* Supporting the teacher in delivering tailored lessons to pupils in reception.
* Assisting with the personal care and hygiene needs of students
* Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
* Providing one-to-one support to students who require additional support
* Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Required Qualifications:
* GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths
* Experience working with children or individuals with SEN
* Knowledge of various learning disabilities and strategies to support individuals
Experience:
Prior experience working with children or individuals with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of SEN and various learning disabilities
* Ability to provide individualised support to students
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
* First Aid certification (not essential)
Working Conditions:
* Work in a school setting
* Full-time hours three days
* Close collaboration with teachers and SENCOs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
