Plumber (Qualified) – Temporary Position – Planned & Reactive Maintenance – Cambridge
We are working with a rapidly growing Facilities Management company dedicated to providing exceptional service to clients. We’re looking for a reliable, professional, and experienced plumber to join our team on a temporary basis to help us manage a busy workload of planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
The Role
* Reactive Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve a wide range of plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, burst pipes, and system failures, in a timely and professional manner.
* Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Conduct routine inspections, servicing, and upkeep of plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
* Installation & Repair: Carry out necessary repairs, replacements, and minor installations (e.g., taps, toilets, sinks, hot water cylinders).
* Documentation: Accurately complete job sheets, report work carried out, and manage stock/materials.
What We Are Looking For
* A recognised plumbing qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3, City and Guilds).
* Proven experience working in planned and reactive maintenance within a commercial or facilities management environment.
* Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload efficiently.
