Job description
We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Full Time Parts Advisor to join our family run, independent Motor Parts & Accessories shop. We are a well established supplier, first opening in 1972, serving both Trade and Retail customers. This role suits a Parts Advisor who is used to a extremely fast paced working environment with experience and still looking and willing to further their knowledge.
Responsibilities include:
* To ensure that all customers, both retail and trade are dealt with promptly responding immediately to requests.
* To ensure all parts and accessories supplied are correct, and confirmed through dealer systems if applicable.
* To be consistent with customer service and conscious of customer needs at all times. We pride ourselves on customer care therefore a positive, friendly and helpful attitude is extremely important.
* Occasionally, we may ask you to deliver parts in our company van and therefore a full Drivers License is required. (Please understand that this is very occasionally is there is ever a staff shortage)
* Proactive approach in maintaining and creating customer relationships.
* During busy periods, we may require help in putting stock away, and taking stock orders.
Expectations and qualifications:
* We ask that you have at least 2 years experience as a Parts Advisor, preferably in a fast paced environment and be confident in working solely.
* As a family-run business, we take great pride in the strong reputation we've built. Therefore we're looking for someone who is genuinely motivated, with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. If you're driven and take pride in your work, you'll fit right in.
* No qualifications are required, however, we do require you to have extensive knowledge of parts, vehicles in general and be able to assist customers when advise is required.
* Good customer service, over the phone and face to face.
* Great attention to detail, along with organizational and administration skills.
* Cleanliness and organization of your own personal desk space is expected.
Working Schedule
* Monday-Friday 8.00am-5.30pm. Saturdays are rotated meaning you will be working every other Saturday 8.30am-1pm.

Pay: £29,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
