Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves supporting daily warehouse operations, including materials handling, stock management, and shipping and receiving activities. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our facility, maintaining safety standards, and assisting with various logistical tasks. Prior warehouse experience is advantageous.
Daily Operations:
Monday: 7.30am - 4.30pm
Tuesday - Thursday: 8am - 4.30pm
Friday: 8am - 4pm
Each day: 2 paid 10 minute breaks (10.30am & 2.30pm)
Lunch: 30 minutes unpaid (12pm-12.30pm)
We operate on a same-day dispatch model, with multiple pickwaves & goods in being received each day.
Responsibilities
* Handle goods efficiently, moving goods up & downstairs
* Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update stock records, and manage order processing.
* Assist with stock organization, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
* Perform picking and packing of orders accurately to meet shipping deadlines.
* Support shipping and receiving processes by preparing items for dispatch or receipt, ensuring proper documentation is completed.
* Conduct heavy lifting as required while adhering to safety protocols.
* Collaborate with team members to optimise warehouse operations and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
* Knowledge of materials handling techniques and logistics procedures.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
* Good organisational skills with attention to detail in stock management tasks.
* Keep a clean tidy environment for pickwaves

* Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and handle manual tasks comfortably.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
