About the Role
We are looking for an Application Developer specializing in Oracle eBusiness Suite (eBS) to design, develop, and support application solutions that meet client requirements.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and support application solutions in Oracle eBS that meet client requirements.
* Utilize Oracle tools such as Designer, Discover, Forms, JDeveloper, and Reports to create reports, interfaces, data conversions, and enhancements.
* Design, develop, and re‑engineer complex application components and integrate software packages, programs, and reusable objects across multiple platforms.
* Focus on delivering high‑quality, efficient, and maintainable solutions that align with industry best practices and Oracle eBS standards.
* Collaborate with functional stream consultants and business users to resolve issues and facilitate communication.
* Write data migration outcome reports, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills to create high‑quality deliverables and follow up with stakeholders involved in data migration.
* Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from legacy systems (primarily Oracle eBS) to Oracle Fusion ERP and HCM.
* Perform data mapping, cleansing, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
* Troubleshoot data migration issues and implement corrective actions.
* Write PLSQL code for extraction, transformation, data processing, and reconciliation reporting.
* Use Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to support data migration and reconciliation tasks.
* Collaborate with functional teams to understand data structures and business rules.
* Document data migration processes, mappings, and validation steps for audit and reference purposes.
* Collaborate with technical developers, functional stream consultants, and business users for issue resolution and follow‑up.
* Ensure data integrity post‑migration through reconciliation tasks.
* Work independently and learn from senior team members.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
* Proficiency in Oracle tools such as Designer, Discover, Forms, JDeveloper, and Reports.
* Experience in SaaS HCM applications and core modules such as Absence, Performance, Case Work, Learning, Recruitment, Project Resource Deployment, Strategic Workforce Planning, ODA, and Payroll.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills to create quality deliverables and coordinate with stakeholders.
* Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently and learn from senior team members.
Preferred Technical Experience
* Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
* Experience with microservices architecture and design patterns.
* Understanding of continuous integration and delivery practices.
