Salary: £36,363 – £40,777 (Grade 6)

Qualifications
Level 6 in Careers Education, Information and Guidance (or equivalent). Experience working with vulnerable groups, including young people with SEND, is essential. Awareness of the barriers faced by those with special educational needs and those using augmentative and alternative communication methods is advantageous.
Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of young people aged 13–19 (up to 25 for those with SEND) in a range of settings such as schools and community sites.
* Provide careers information, advice and guidance to enable young people to develop career management skills and make informed choices about learning, employment and training.
* Support young people through transition to post‑school education, employment and training, including writing and tracking individual action plans or Career Pathway Plans.
* Contribute to reviews of those with Education, Health and Care Plans and advocate for young people with significant needs.
* Assist in identifying and assessing barriers to progression and facilitate solution‑focused interventions.
