You will have experience in the water industry, such as utilities, M&E, flow, wastewater, leakage, sewerage, and understand our products to hit the ground running. The role is based in the Midlands, with travel throughout the UK.

Job Description: General Manager / Strategic Sales Manager: Industrial, Water, Wastewater Monitoring
Reporting directly to the UK Managing Director, this role involves driving expansion of flow metering technology and non-revenue water solutions. You will oversee UK sales and service, with 3 direct reports, and be involved in sales, business management, and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop the UK sales and service team, setting sales objectives and strategies.
* Coach, motivate, and manage performance of the team.
* Report sales performance to the Managing Director and global organization.
* Manage client projects from solution design to execution, working with contractors and customers.
* Conduct market analysis to identify competition and revenue opportunities.
* Lead the preparation of tenders and proposals, presenting solutions effectively.
* Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
Person Specification:
* Proven success in sales and people leadership within the water industry or related fields.
* Experience managing a sales budget of GBP 5-15 million.
* Experience selling capital equipment alongside services.
* Strong industry presence and client management skills.
