Overview
Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper role in Inverness. Type: Permanent. Hours: Full Time (Monday – Friday), part time also considered. Location: Inverness. Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.
Responsibilities
* Varied bookkeeping duties including all sales and purchase ledger transactions and bank reconciliations.
* Annual and periodic processing for VAT returns and accounts.
* Use of financial software systems including Quickbooks and Sage.
* Liaising with clients to ensure best practice.
* Updating and maintaining accurate financial records and client information.
* Operating within company procedures and statutory legislation.
Person specification
* Previous accounts/bookkeeping experience.
* Experience with various software packages including MS Office and financial software systems.
* Organised and strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to manage and meet deadlines.
* Good communication skills – verbal and written.
* Practice experience beneficial.
