Job Summary
Admin and Clerical Officer is the main point of contact for our psychology patients within the Pain Management Service and for delivering a high standard of customer care to a wide range of client groups, including the unit/centre's multi-disciplinary team, patients, relatives and their carers. On site commitment only. Base site Edgware Community Hospital.
Main duties
* Proactively collect, investigate, verify and record high-quality patient demographic and treatment data.
* Accurately and timely enter information on the computerised patient information system to support appropriate income for patient activity, minimise clinical risks from inaccurate records, and comply with national NHS targets (e.g., data quality and length of patient wait).

Person Specification
* Essential – Education & professional Qualifications: Good general education, including GCSE English grade C or above, or equivalent NVQ level 2 in Customer Care.
* Essential – Experience: Relevant experience in a role which combines administration and working with the public, preferably in the NHS or similar.
* Essential – Skills and aptitudes: Excellent customer care skills, including ability to use judgement, tact & diplomacy; excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
* Desirable: Ability to manage and resolve difficult situations; high accuracy and attention to detail; good IT skills, including Windows-based applications.
* Personal Qualities & attributes – Essential: Flexible and adaptable.
* Others: Need to be flexible to travel and work at any of the Royal Free sites.
