Fairview Health is a fast‑growing provider of integrated medicines services, supporting NHS Trusts and healthcare partners through both WDA(H) and GPhC‑regulated operations. We are strengthening our Central Operations team with a Medicines Procurement Manager who will ensure every Fairview site can reliably and compliantly source the medicines required to deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable services.
This role is central to how Fairview maintains supply continuity, pricing governance, and procurement efficiency across a multi‑site specialist pharmacy service.
What You’ll Lead
* NHS medicines procurement across WDA(H) and GPhC operations
* Compliance with NHS pricing frameworks and contractual requirements
* Supplier relationships with NHS procurement teams, wholesalers & manufacturers
* Shortage management, alternative sourcing, and risk escalation
* Ownership of medicines master data & pricing accuracy in the inventory system
* Governance controls, audit trails, and data integrity
* Coaching Site Leads on purchasing optimisation
What You Bring
* Experience in NHS medicines procurement or hospital/homecare purchasing
* Strong understanding of NHS pricing frameworks
* Supplier negotiation and procurement efficiency experience
* Experience managing pricing files, master data, or inventory systems
* Understanding of MHRA GDP & GPhC supply chain expectations
* Ability to work across multiple sites with operational variation
