Salary: £29,000 - 55,000 per year Requirements: Experience working in regulated or compliance-led engineering environments Strong understanding of engineering standards, inspections, assurance or governance Ability to work independently across multiple sites Confident stakeholder communication, including at senior level Eligibility to obtain SC Security Clearance (UK National / minimum UK residency requirement) SCIDA experience or experience in Air SCIDA or related environments is desirable Knowledge of JSP standards such as JSP 453, JSP 440, AP 600, DICTIS, and JSP 375 is desirable MOD CIS, ICT or ATM exposure is desirable Cryptographic or TEMPEST awareness is desirable Experience supporting or reviewing Engineering Change Requests is desirable Responsibilities: Act as the engineering and compliance focal point for allocated RAF and MOD sites Deliver SCIDA services in line with JSP 453, Air SCIDA Engineering Instructions and related Defence standards Review designs, installations and Engineering Change Requests to identify risks and non-compliance Conduct site inspections, post-installation assurance and audits Provide clear technical guidance and briefings to RAF personnel, contractors and project teams Attend siting boards, surveys and MOD or RAF meetings as required Support and, where appropriate, chair Engineering Change Request and engineering review meetings Advise Site Executives, OC Engineers and other stakeholders on engineering compliance Contribute to SCIDA documentation, Engineering Instructions and continuous improvement activity Support estate-wide assessments and reporting as required Technologies: ICT Support JSP Network Security More: We are Telent and we are seeking a SCIDA Site Engineer to support assurance, compliance and governance of ICT and network installations within RAF and MOD environments.
