An opportunity has arisen for a permanent position of PA/Admin Team Lead to the Local Manager for Cowal Hospital, Dunoon. To provide a personal, confidential, efficient and comprehensive PA and high quality secretarial/administrative support service to the Locality Manager for Cowal Hospital, Dunoon, ensuring efficient flow of information. Effectively managing the Local Manager’s diary and carrying out tasks as instructed, constantly prioritising the busy and ever changing workload and being the main point of contact for the Local Manager, Cowal Hospital, the public, staff, partner agencies, GP’s and the wider NHS.
Responsibilities
* Manage the Local Manager’s diary and act as main point of contact for the Local Manager, Cowal Hospital, and external/internal stakeholders.
* Provide personal, confidential, efficient, and high-quality PA and secretarial/administrative support.
* Coordinate information flow and prioritise workload to support effective team operation.
Qualifications and Skills
* A good general educational background with proven work experience in a similar admin/PA role.
* ECDL/SVQ3/HNC or equivalent is desirable.
* Documented evidence of relevant training.
* Standard grade English and Maths are desirable.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills (written, verbal and listening).
* Excellent computer skills with advanced keyboard skills.
* Experience of dealing with the public and good report writing skills.
* Experience in minute taking and administration of formal committees and meetings.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team; adaptable; able to use initiative; tactful and diplomatic; aware of confidentiality issues.
* Driving licence.
