About The Role
As a Site Agent you are an integral part of our Project Delivery Team and will be based at our Chandlers Ford branch. This role will bring you into daily contact with Selwood stakeholders, Customer, Site Contractors and our 3rd party suppliers. In this role you will need to be a confident leader with good communication skills both verbal and written as well as having the ability to ensure that all company administration, quality assurance and health and safety policies are fully adhered to and that all on site activities are carried out in full compliance both with our policies and relevant statutory legislation
Main Responsibilities:
1. Develop strong business relationships with your team and clients, working effectively with the Project Manager for efficient project implementations and monitor ongoing project performance to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within the allocated budget.
2. Compiling and submitting detailed daily and weekly project reports to the Project Manager.
3. Ensure all site based paperwork is completed and compliant at the relevant stages, approved and sent to the relevant recipients.
4. To communicate with Installation Teams ensuring their involvement and recognition towards achievement of company objectives.
5. To deal with issues arising from customers and internal departments within Selwood in a professional manner seeking best the possible solution for the individuals and the business.
6. To review and improve working practices, systems and procedures ensuring a safe and efficient turnover of equipment through Installations.
7. To ensure that all company administration, quality assurance and health and safety policies are fully adhered to and that all activities are carried out in full compliance both with our policies and relevant statutory legislation.
8. Identify and report any deviations from the project plan/ Subcontract agreement to the Project Manager with full reports and substantiation.
9. Main point of contact on site representing Selwood to the highest of standards and dealing with any site-based queries as quickly and professionally as possible.
10. Perform regular assessment of project execution to identify areas of improvement.
11. To drive industry best practices, techniques, and Company standards, ensuring all team members comply with policies, procedures, and relevant regulations at all times for effective project execution.
Qualifications & Experience:
12. Recognised Diploma in Construction Supervision/Management.
13. SMSTS.
14. IOSH Managing Safely.
15. CSCS CARD (Black Managers Card)
16. First Aid course.
17. Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities.
18. Previous experience in site management or a similar role.
19. Engineering experience in Pumping Applications and Pipework or Construction.
20. Detailed knowledge of Safe Systems of Works and appreciation of construction procedures.
21. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to analyse complex problems and assess possible solutions.
22. Demonstrate a high level of communication skills with the ability to provide detailed information and advice in a clear and positive manner.
23. Computer literate with a High Level of competency in Microsoft office, particularly outlook, excel and Teams.
24. A full UK driving licence is required for this position as you will need to travel as the business requires.
25. Compliant accurate record keeping is important to this role, with the ability to complete reports in a professional manner.
26. Ability to act proactively / be forward thinking whilst maintaining a methodical, attention to detail approach.
