GSL Education are currently seeking a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming school based in Dinnington. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of a dedicated team supporting children with a range of additional needs.

Role Overview
You will play a crucial role in supporting children with SEN, working closely with class teachers and pupils to promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs.
* Support the class teacher in delivering inclusive lessons tailored to individual education plans.
* Provide a nurturing, structured environment that helps pupils feel safe, understood, and ready to learn.
* Assist in behaviour regulation and emotional support for students with complex needs.
* Communicate effectively with teachers, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals.
* Monitor and track pupil progress, providing feedback and adapting support strategies as required.
* Promote independence, confidence, and resilience through positive reinforcement.
Job Requirements:
* Experience working in a school or care setting supporting children or young people with SEN.
* Sound understanding of SEN strategies, particularly in managing behaviours and supporting communication needs.
* Patience, empathy, and adaptability when working with students with a range of complex needs.
* Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals.
* Have anupdated CV(covering thelast ten years barring any unexplained gaps) andan enhanced DBSregistered to theUpdate Service(or be willing to apply for one).
