Join Our Team as a Lifeguard!
Are you ready to dive into a role that combines fun, safety, and exceptional customer service? At Butlin’s, our lifeguards play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a fantastic time while staying safe in our Splash Waterworld!
About the Role
Your primary responsibility will be to keep a watchful eye on our guests, ensuring their safety in the pool and on the flumes. This role requires:
* Superb attention to detail to monitor pool activities effectively.
* Exceptional customer service skills to interact with guests and enhance their experience.
* Creativity in promoting and running engaging poolside activities.
If you already hold a lifeguard qualification, that’s fantastic! If not, don’t worry—we’ll support you through your NPLQ course, providing all the training you need to kickstart your lifeguarding career.
This is a permanent role with a variety of shifts available between 8:30 AM and 9 PM. We require availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with additional hours during school holidays. Flexibility, reliability, and punctuality are essential, as you will be a key part of our team.
We welcome both part-time and full-time applications. Plus, if you’re over 18 and relocating, live-in accommodation may be available!
About You
We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who can easily engage with a diverse range of people. Here’s what you need to bring to the table:
* Strong swimming skills and the ability to monitor the pool during busy times.
* A keen eye for detail to ensure guest safety.
* A willingness to learn—if you don’t have a lifeguard qualification, we’ll help you obtain your NPLQ, fully funded!
You’ll be part of a fantastic team, but there will also be times when you’ll supervise areas independently.
