Location: Somerset (Bridgwater, Taunton, Wellington, and surrounding areas)

Zen Educate is seeking dedicated, qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioners / Nursery Nurses for daily and short-term cover across fantastic nurseries, pre-schools, and primary school reception classes in Bridgwater, Taunton, and Wellington.
Whether you are looking for a few days a week to balance other commitments, or full-time hours without being tied down to one permanent contract, we have flexible options to suit you.

The Role & Responsibilities
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will step into local settings to provide high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 0 to 5.

Providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children to play and learn.
*
Assisting with the delivery of age-appropriate activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
*
Supporting children with daily routines, including meal times, outdoor play, and personal care.
*
Building quick, positive relationships with children, staff teams, and parents/carers.
*
Ensuring high standards of safeguarding and health and safety are maintained at all times.
What We Are Looking For
*
A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent).

Sound knowledge and practical experience working with the EYFS framework.
*
An adaptable, energetic, and warm personality with a genuine passion for early childhood development.
*
A valid, enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or the willingness to apply for one through us).
*
Reliability and the ability to travel to settings across the Bridgwater, Taunton, and Wellington areas
