About the School
This specialist setting provides a highly supportive, nurturing environment for pupils who have often found mainstream education challenging. Class sizes are small, relationships are central, and the curriculum is carefully adapted to meet individual needs - academically, socially, and emotionally.
The provision supports pupils with:
* SEMH as a primary need
* Additional SEN including communication difficulties and learning needs
* Complex social, emotional, and behavioural challenges
The school places a strong emphasis on trauma-informed practice, consistency, and positive behaviour support, ensuring every pupil has the opportunity to re-engage with learning and achieve success.
Recent Ofsted feedback has been positive, highlighting strengths such as:
* Strong staff–pupil relationships
* Effective behaviour management strategies
* A calm, supportive learning environment
* A clear commitment to pupil wellbeing and personal development

* QTS/QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification
* A calm, patient, and resilient approach
* Strong behaviour management skills
