We are seeking a skilled and versatile Assembly Technician to join a leading marine technology team developing next generation products. This hands-on role involves assembling and testing complex components, maintaining production areas, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: * Assemble autonomous underwater gliders, sub-components, and mechanical units using hand tools and equipment * Interpret and follow detailed assembly drawings and instructions * Conduct functional testing and perform quality checks throughout assembly * Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workspace * Support general production tasks and represent the organisation professionally Essential Requirements: * Trade qualification in engineering, electrical, mechanical, or maritime fields * Strong technical knowledge with excellent problem-solving skills * Competent in Microsoft Office 365 and other relevant digital platforms * Excellent communication skills * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Valid UK driving licence and unrestricted right to work in the UK * Eligible for UK Defence Security Clearance Desirable: * First Aid certification * Forklift licence This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, precision engineering, and working with advanced marine technology.
