Connexus UK is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading construction company operating across the UK and Ireland. They have an opening for an experienced Quantity Surveyor based in either their Belfast or Cookstown office.

Key Responsibilities
* Analyse construction drawings and specifications to determine labour, material, and specialist requirements
* Prepare enquiry documents, obtain and negotiate material and subcontractor quotations
* Maintain budgetary control through regular supplier and subcontractor negotiations
* Complete monthly subcontractor valuations and final accounts
* Submit monthly valuations to PQS and accurately record all additional works
* Liaise with clients to agree variations, rates, and provide detailed cost analysis
* Measure works against contract-specific schedules of rates
* Prepare and submit interim valuations and final accounts to deadlines
* Work closely with management and accounts teams to deliver strong financial outcomes
* Provide accurate monthly cost and progress reports for internal and client meetings
* Attend and contribute to regular site progress meetings
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline (HND/HNC or significant experience also considered)
* At least 2 years' experience in a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator role within a main contracting environment
* Strong commercial awareness and the ability to work with minimal supervision
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively in a team
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Project)
