Uppingham School is seeking a dedicated and inspiring Teacher of Biology to play a central role in our Science faculty.
Uppingham aims to be the national centre for excellence in Science education, with a state-of-the-art Science building. The successful candidate will inspire pupils, foster curiosity, and promote a love of Sciences through innovative teaching.
This full-time role involves being a tutor in one of the sixteen houses, and participating in clubs, societies, and competitions like dissection, journal clubs, and Biology Olympiad.
We welcome experienced teachers and those early in their careers eager to develop their skills in a supportive environment. A strong academic background, excellent subject knowledge, and good classroom management skills are essential. Teaching a second Science to GCSE is advantageous.
