Job Description: An opportunity has arisen to join our Operations team as a Manufacturing Technician on a permanent basis, to support our Electronics Team based in Cottenham, Cambridge. The Role: Assemble complex electronic products for leading Motorsport customers in line with engineering specifications. Interpret detailed assembly instructions, drawings and build documentation accurately. Build products in accordance with documented processes, achieving first-pass quality with no rework. Work to IPC-A-610 electro-mechanical standards, maintaining compliance at all times. Maintain high levels of quality, and traceability throughout the build process. Ensure finished products meet defined visual and presentation standards prior to release. Carry out encapsulation, labelling and final inspection to premium customer standards. Perform precision assembly tasks requiring fine adjustment, care and attention to detail. Undertake high-quality soldering. Conduct low-level testing and controlled product power-up procedures. Collaborate effectively within a small production team, maintaining clear communication. Manage workload to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
