Independent Opticians serving the community of Hazel Grove for over 40 years. Providing a bespoke service to all patients. Has been recently taken over within the last few months. Has state of the art OCT scan for 4D scans of the back of the eye.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Optical Assistant located in Hazel Grove. The Optical Assistant's day-to-day tasks will include providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with frame and lens selection, performing basic optometry tasks such as measuring and adjusting eyewear, as well as helping the Optometrist with patient examinations and maintaining records and pre screening of Optometrist. The Optical Assistant will also handle administrative duties, such as scheduling appointments, managing inventory, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

* Strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service experience
* Effective Communication skills
* Knowledge and experience in Optometry
* Focus on Customer Satisfaction
* Attention to detail and ability to multitask
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Previous experience in an optical environment is a plus
* High school diploma or equivalent; further education in optometry or related fields is desirable
* Previous glazing experience would be desirable.
