Adele Carr Recruitment is supporting the recruitment needs of a national firm in Liverpool who are keen to appoint a proven Credit Manager on a fixed term contract. Whilst reporting into a Head of Credit Control, this is a key leadership role supporting the team and senior stakeholders with all credit risk management, taking full ownership of day to day processes in the AR department. The Opportunity You'll lead and develop a growing credit control team who are based around the UK. High on your agenda is to support a new system implementation, that will provide more robust controls and accurate reporting. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor and develop a credit team, ensuring best practice and a culture of accountability. Produce regular credit management reports Provide proactive financial support to the senior stakeholders. Drive improvements in internal controls, processes and systems to ensure robust financial management. Champion best practice within the business Develop and/or implement credit policies and robust collection processes Resolve escalated payment disputes Ensuring compliance with credit regulations Preparing regular reports on credit and collections activity Improving cash flow by collecting late payments and negotiating better payment terms. About You A proven background in Credit Risk Management Preferably CICM qualified Experience leading a finance team within a national organisation Confident managing all aspects of credit risk management Hands-on, adaptable, and commercially aware, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
