About the Role:
Puro Associates is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tax Accountant to join their dynamic team in Barnet. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse client base and provide high-quality tax advisory services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts.
* Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, ensuring compliance with UK tax laws and regulations.
* Support clients with tax-efficient strategies and assist with tax investigations when required.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and changes that impact clients.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering practical solutions for their tax needs.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient service delivery.
* Assist with the preparation of management reports and presentations for clients.
Skills & Experience Required:
* ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified (or equivalent), or qualified by experience.
* Strong understanding of UK tax laws, including corporate, personal, and VAT.
* Must have at least 3 years experience in a tax role or similar within a UK accountancy practice.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax issues clearly.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax software.
* Ability to manage multiple client portfolios and meet deadlines.
