Job Title: Pensions Administrator -Complex cases

Location: Glasgow

Salary: £28,500-£29,500 + up to 10% annual bonus

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Hybrid after training)


About The Role

We are working with a well-known Financial services client who is looking for a Pensions Administrator to join their Client Solutions Technical Team in Glasgow. This is a varied and fast-paced role at the heart of their operations, where exceptional customer service and attention to detail are essential. You will manage a range of queries and client instructions, ensuring they are completed accurately and within agreed timeframes, helping advisers achieve the best outcomes for their clients.

This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact by supporting clients and identifying improvements to existing controls and processes. You will play an important part in safeguarding client money and enhancing the client journey.


Key Responsibilities

1. Manage incoming client queries and instructions, including processing money movements, transfers, and pension transactions.
2. Support operations across the wider department as required.
3. Respond to client queries clearly, professionally, and within agreed timeframes.
4. Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues and teams across the business.
5. Identify opportunities to improve operational controls and contribute to the design of better processes.
6. Work within the company's risk management framework and understand the impact of actions.
7. Play an active role in enhancing the client journey and overall service delivery.


About You

You are well-organised, proactive, and focused on delivering quality. You are thoughtful in your approach and always one step ahead. You listen closely, ask the right questions, and take pride in resolving issues quickly and effectively. With strong communication skills and a drive to help others, you excel in delivering exceptional service in a busy environment.


Requirements

* Previous experience in financial services (experience with pensions or ISAs is an advantage but not essential).
* A high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
* The ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
* Confidence in handling complex or sensitive situations with professionalism and care.
* Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A proactive approach to solving problems and improving processes.
* A collaborative mindset and a desire to support team success.
