Overview
Skanska is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join the Infrastructure Roads team located in Bedford. You will be a Quantity Surveyor working on the Enabling phase, supporting forecasting and reporting to the client and internally to Skanska.
What you'll do
* Good working knowledge of NEC4 contracts/commercial law
* Previous experience of managing the Client and Subcontractors
* Knowledge of commercial digital systems (Oracle, CEMAR and ProjectWise)
* Awareness of the commercial ‘shared success’ with the client
* Provide commercial advice to delivery team
* Support ‘Scheme Budget’ forecasting and reporting as required
* Supporting cost control and capture
* Supply Chain management within budget and time constraints
* Support the timely and professional management of Client and Supply Chain contractual obligations
