The role is varied, hands‑on and provides the opportunity to make a real difference working for a world‑leader in Environmental research.
Responsibilities
* Conducting and performing studies relating to study plan protocols using appropriate instrumentation with routine and non‑routine methods with multiple organisms.
* Maintaining study documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines working to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
* Collating data and accurate data recording.
* Participate in QC review of selected routine data.
* Maintaining/upkeep of laboratory and work area.
* Husbandry tasks with various aquatic and terrestrial organisms, supporting the department in performing environmental studies on behalf of our clients.
Qualifications & Core Skills
* GCSE level standard in Science, Biology, Maths and English.
* Home Office licence PIL A/B.
* Worked within all areas using GLP or have knowledge of GLP.
* Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication, time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple studies.
* Attention to detail and consistent accuracy whilst managing multiple changing priorities.
