Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 + OTE £50,000 - £55,000

Dunwall Associates are proud to be recruiting for a well-established engineering business who are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in heavy plant, LGV, agricultural, materials handling, or automotive engineering to take on a varied and rewarding role covering the Essex and North East M25 region.
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be carrying out service, repair, and maintenance work on specialist equipment in the field.
You'll be customer-facing, providing a professional service, ensuring reliability of equipment, and delivering a first-class experience for clients.
Key responsibilities include:
* Servicing and repairing a range of specialist engineering equipment.
* Completing warranty work and all associated job documentation accurately.
* Coordinating with the service team to ensure efficient scheduling of work.
* Promoting parts and services to customers when appropriate.
* Ordering parts and managing administration linked to each job.
* Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota as required.
* Occasional nights away and travel to other UK sites may be necessary.
About You
We are looking for a hands-on engineer with the right blend of technical expertise and customer service skills.
Skills & experience required:
* Strong engineering background in heavy plant, LGV, agricultural, materials handling, or automotive.
* Knowledge of IC engines, hydraulic systems, and auto-electrical systems.
* Experience of working on high-value capital equipment.
* Full UK driving licence (HGV desirable).
* Confident IT skills (Microsoft Office).
* Flexible, adaptable, and able to work independently.
