Overview
A Secondary School in Manchester require a Finance Administrator to assist with accurate, efficient and effective support to the Finance Manager for the development and operation of the Finance function of the Academy.
Under the direction of the Finance Leader / Finance Manager, undertake a wide range of financial administration procedures, to support the effective monitoring and financial control ensuring the effective use of financial resources.
Qualifications
* Level 2 Qualification in relevant subject such as Accountancy or Finance, or equivalent experience
* Literacy and Numeracy skills equivalent to Level 2 of the National Qualification & Credit Framework
* AAT Level 3 or above (or working towards)
Experience
* Experience of working in a Financial and / or personnel environment.
* Experience of developing and administering financial procedures and systems
* Experience of using computerised packages for financial / HR administration, e.g. word processing, spreadsheets, databases and raising/ processing invoices
* Experience of following a range of financial procedures and policies, e.g. for cash handling, budget monitoring and updating purchase
* Experience of undertaking a range of administration/clerical tasks
* Experience of team-working to work effectively with others and meet deadlines and goals
* Experience of working in a busy office environment
* Experience of using Civica and/or Arbor
