An opening has developed in our Pre-School unit working with children aged 3 yrs to school age where our focus is helping the children become school ready enabling a smooth transition to school. Buckshaw Village Nursery is a private children's day nursery dedicated to providing exceptional early childhood education and care. Summary
We are seeking a passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in fostering a safe and engaging learning environment for children, contributing to their growth and development.

Responsibilities
Create and implement engaging educational activities tailored to children's developmental needs.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
* Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's learning journeys.
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
* Work closely with other staff members to create a cohesive team environment.
* Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
* Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social and emotional growth.
Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3).
* Proven experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting an advantage, but not essential.
* Strong understanding of child development practices.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Pay: From £12.64 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
