Elderly Care is a leading provider of aged care services, committed to delivering exceptional care to our residents. We are currently looking for an experiencedOperations Managerto join our team and ensure the efficient operation and performance of our aged care facilities.
This position will lead and manage a total of 5 care homes on the Brisbane north side to Bundaberg. Frequent travel between Ashgrove, Stafford, Sunshine coast, Bundaberg and PT Vernon is essential to optimise the operational excellence. TheOperations manager will be reporting to the COO who isbased at the head office.
As the Operations manager, you will play a key role in driving the performance of our aged care facilities through your leadership of the teams.You will be responsible for ensuring financial and operational targets are met, maintaining compliance with aged care accreditation standards, and leading a team of Facility Managers to deliver high-quality care services. This position requires a strategic leader who can implement best practices, mentor teams, and ensure operational excellence across all facilities.
Key Responsibilities include:
Manage the daily operations of multiple aged care facilities to meet financial and performance KPIs.
Support and mentor Facility Managers in employee management, resource allocation, and operational processes.
Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and accreditation standards.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to manage budgets, reduce costs, and maximize operational efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and facilitate staff training and development programs.
Address and resolve operational issues, including internal and external complaints.
Qualifications and Skills include:
Strong knowledge of residential aged care regulations and compliance standards.
Proven experience in aged care operations, managing multiple facilities or teams.
Leadership skills with extensive experience in managing employees.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage budgets, analyse financial outcomes, and prepare detailed reports.
Experience with managing rosters and workforce planning.
A results-oriented leader with the ability to inspire and mentor teams.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving demands of the aged care sector.
