This is a hands-on, technically focused role suited to someone who thrives at the intersection of design accuracy, workflow organisation, and cross-departmental coordination. Youll be the person who ensures projects move smoothly from initial drawings through to final on-site completion by driving consistency, quality, and technical clarity at every stage. The Role Working across design, production, and installation teams, you will: Own the full technical flow of each project, ensuring information is clear, complete, and consistent from start to finish. Produce accurate working and technical drawings used for fabrication, fitting, and client approval. Manage and prioritise the design teams workload, maintaining pace without compromising detail. Act as the operational link between design, production, and installation ensuring every team has the right drawings, specifications, and updates. Implement and uphold drawing standards, covering performance detailing, glazing, thermal considerations, structural requirements, and compliance. Introduce and maintain quality checkpoints across design, specification, production, and installation. Develop and maintain drawing control systems, templates, and project folders to streamline workflow. Tackle technical challenges early, reducing rework and improving delivery accuracy. Champion continuous improvement across processes, communication, and quality. About You Youll suit this role if you: Have proven experience producing technical drawings and managing workflows in manufacturing, specialist joinery, glazing, construction, or bespoke fabrication environments. Are confident balancing drawing production with operational and team coordination. Understand how design, production, and installation integrate and how drawings must support each stage. Are organised, proactive, and detail-driven, with a natural ability to improve processes and reduce operational friction. Communicate clearly and work well under pressure, particularly when resolving technical queries. Have an interest in workflow optimisation, automation, or continuous improvement methodologies. What Success Looks Like Drawings are delivered accurately and on time, with reduced rework. Production and installation teams have the information they need first time. Technical issues are resolved early, improving efficiency and customer satisfaction. Processes become more structured, transparent, and predictable across departments.
