Brakes have an opportunity for a Receptionist to join the Facilities team in Ashford, Kent on a 12 Month, Fixed Term Contract basis.
Our Facilities team are looking for a confident, Front of House Receptionist to join them at Enterprise House. The first impression of the whole company is the reception, and we require someone who is well presented with good people skills, to offer each visitor and colleague a helpful, friendly welcome.
This role requires you to work Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8am – 5pm.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
1. Meet and greet visitors
2. Administration duties
3. Use own initiative to manage day to day-to-day challenges and issues arising
4. Cancelling & rescheduling booking’s as necessary
5. Answer all incoming calls to the reception desk
6. Sundry duties to include sorting post, receiving & recording deliveries
7. Ensure consistent compliance with company policy and procedures related to the role
8. Responsible for creating and managing departmental purchase orders using SAP systems
You:
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and people skills as you will be dealing with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels offering a great customer service. To be successful in this role you will have an eye for detail in order to maintain high levels of accuracy as well as the ability to organise your work effectively. You will have some experience in an office based role and have good IT and telephone skills. Above all you will be customer focused and be willing to learn.
