About the Role
We are looking for a creative and organised Art and Design Technician to support secondary schools in the Wallasey area. This role involves working closely with teachers and students to ensure the smooth running of Art and Design classes, including preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and assisting with practical lessons.
You will also work with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), so confidence in adapting to different learning requirements and providing inclusive support is essential.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and organise materials and resources for Art and Design lessons.
* Maintain and manage classroom equipment and tools.
* Support teachers during practical sessions and demonstrations.
* Assist students, including those with SEN, to access and engage with creative activities.
* Ensure health and safety standards are met in all practical work areas.

Requirements
* Previous experience in an Art and Design environment or similar role is desirable.
* Ability to adapt and support students with diverse needs, including SEN.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* A proactive and flexible approach to working in a school setting.
