Your Role
As a Design Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in our Construction Engineering team, contributing to the delivery of complex construction engineering services. Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:
* Understanding and agreeing on technical requirements with clients
* Leading the development of fee proposals
* Organizing and managing the workload of engineers and technical staff
* Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies
* Overseeing the production of design deliverables, including calculations, drawings, and reports
* Identifying opportunities for value engineering
* Building positive relationships with clients and project teams
* Managing financial and commercial aspects of projects
* Providing regular project reports and maintaining documentation
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Have completed IEng Initial Professional Development (or CEng equivalent) with a relevant professional institution (e.g., ICE)
* Hold Level 6 or Level 7 qualifications with significant relevant experience
Working Conditions
Location: Wymondham, Norfolk
Hours: 40 hours per week - with some flexibility available!
