The Specialist, Conflicts Management (New Business Intake) will be the subject matter expert for a team providing the Conflicts Management Service to In-Market personnel, including Partners and office staff, identify and analyze possible conflicts of interest for new business; monitor and manage the Conflict Management Request queue volumes, and ensure the Service Level Agreement (SLA) for Conflicts Management is maintained and exceptional service is provided. To assist in team performance, planning and management, employee morale, learning, and professional development.

Main responsibilities:

1. Act as a Subject Matter Expert, assist the team and management in responding to technical queries relating to the identification and analysis of conflicts of interest for new business purposes
2. Conflicts Management Request queue management, including adherence to SLA, monitoring and reporting on Key Performance Indicators
3. Collaborate and work closely with the Conflicts Management functional lead and other Conflict Management Team Leads and Specialists across the Centers to expand the service offering and deliver a positive and successful team
4. Liaise with and support NBI Managers, internal stakeholders, and NBI team members across the Centers
5. Contribute to the development of a strategy to ensure high team morale and team building
6. Lead pilot/testing teams for troubleshooting both tech upgrades and new conflict policies
7. Delivering training and upskilling of new team members
8. Perform QMS audits, identify trends and training needs of team members
9. Work with NBI leadership and Risk Management, the Director of PRPC (Office of General Counsel), and other Firm stakeholders as required to meet and exceed business needs and expectations

Skills and experience:

10. A bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related discipline
11. Previous conflicts of interest experience in a legal or professional services environment
12. Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
13. Excellent time management, organizational, and administrative skills
14. Proven ability to multi-task and work well under pressure, prioritize workloads, and meet tight deadlines
15. Highly self-motivated and proactive approach
16. Able to work well with others and to build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders quickly via telephone and videoconference
17. An outstanding and confident communicator who can deal confidently, tactfully, and appropriately with people at all levels of the organization
18. Highly credible and persuasive
19. Comfortable working within a large and complex, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders and interest groups
20. A self-starter who can get things done without the need for detailed direction
21. Must be able to think strategically, but also willing and able to roll his/her sleeves up and do whatever is needed to achieve key business objectives, diving into detail where necessary

23. Willing to go the extra mile to provide outstanding client/stakeholder service
