West Berkshire has a well established Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) programme, designed to help Newly Qualified Social Workers develop skills, confidence, and professional identity in their first year of practice.
About The Role
You will work directly with children and families, completing assessments, planning interventions, and coordinating support with partner agencies. You’ll manage a protected caseload, receive regular reflective supervision, and be part of a friendly, child centred service.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
* A qualified Social Worker, or due to qualify soon
* Registered (or eligible to register) with Social Work England
* Motivated, reflective, and committed to high quality practice
* Able to build strong relationships with children and families
