Future Teachers Programme – Maths & Science Graduates

Are you a Maths or Science graduate (or A-level holder) looking to take your first step into teaching?
Teaching Personnel’s Future Teachers Programme offers a unique, fully supported route into the profession, giving you the opportunity to gain paid classroom experience before starting your teacher training year.
You will be placed in a central Cambridge secondary school, working as a Cover Supervisor leading lessons, supporting pupils, and gaining first-hand experience of life in the classroom.
This placement can start as soon as possible, or from January 2026 depending on applicant availability.
You will be employed for the remainder of the academic year, before being invited to apply to the trust teacher training. While a role at your placement school isn’t guaranteed, this is often the case, especially for core subjects like Maths and Science, where most trainees complete their teacher training at their original school or a nearby partner school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
