Archer are currently looking for a part time (3 days per week) HSE Advisor based in our Blackburn office for 6 months. The role will: Provide advice, guidance and information concerning safety, health and environmental issues, existing and proposed legislation, codes of practice and industry standards. Co-ordinate contractual HSE deliverables with customer and Archer contractors Liaise with external bodies such as enforcing authorities, legislative agencies, industry organisations so that the project remains informed and can plan for change. Conduct risk assessments, developing HSE Plans, interface documentation and other relevant documentation in support of the project, client, Archer contractors and product lines Carry out internal and external HSE audits of offshore/onshore worksites and any contractor/subcontractor activities. Compile monthly HSE reports on project HSE performance. Education Good level of English NEBOSH Certificate level as minimum Lead Auditor qualification preferred Lead investigation training i.e. TopSet/TapRoot Offshore BOSIET / MIST OEUK Medical Experience: Computer literate Previous experience in a similar role Personal skills: Self-motivated Punctual Good communication skills Ability to work under pressure Ability to work as part of a team or on your own
