Education/Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. •Registered Professional Nurse / Social Worker / Allied Health Professional or Paramedic with experience of working within safeguarding.
2. •Evidence of ongoing professional development
3. Working within a Safeguarding Team
Desirable criteria
4. •Teaching and assessment Qualification.
5. •Safeguarding Adults specialist qualification
6. •Master’s qualification
Knowledge and Experience
Essential criteria
7. •Knowledge of national and local Safeguarding Policies, guidelines, and recommendations.
8. •Demonstrates knowledge relevant to patterns of abuse and neglect. •Knowledge of the multi-agency safeguarding systems, such as MASH, MARAC and PREVENT
