Key responsibilities of the Art Teacher:

Teaching Art across KS3 and KS4 (with potential for KS5 depending on experience).

Creating engaging schemes of work in drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art.

Supporting students with portfolios, exams, and creative development.

Collaborating with other Art Teachers to enhance the curriculum and classroom practice.
*
Organising gallery visits, art showcases, and student exhibitions.
*
Embedding themes of diversity, identity, and cultural appreciation in the Art classroom.

Participating fully in the department’s collaborative CPD sessions.

Supporting school-wide creative initiatives.
Essential Criteria:

Degree in Art or Fine Art and QTS.

A track record of inspiring creativity in young people.

Strong classroom management and a clear passion for the subject.

Open to ECTs or experienced Art Teachers.
