Senior Market Research & Insights Manager

London, United Kingdom

The role of a Senior Insights Manager is to work within the Insights and Research Team to help design projects that derive critical insights across multiple accounts and service lines. The role supports organic growth and contributes to delivering excellent quality healthcare solutions through delivery skills, project scoping, and providing value to both the agency and our clients.

You must have experience in Pharmaceutical Research coupled with a broader B2B understanding, and a desire to influence the future of our business.

This role is suitable for someone who loves qualitative work (in-person interviewing, small data set mining, custom qualitative project development) and has experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

You will report directly to a member of our Senior Management Team.

This is a hybrid role, combining remote and in-office work, with at least 2 days expected in the office.


What will you do …

1. Promote and embody Inizio Engage XD values, encouraging these in others.
2. Foster knowledge and skill expansion across Inizio Engage XD agencies.

Healthcare Research & Insight Consultant

* Provide leadership and counsel on insight and research needs.
* Support client proposals and pitches, including desk research and strategic insights.
* Educate the business on the importance of market and customer insight for strategy development.
* Demonstrate knowledge of therapeutic areas and market audiences.
* Provide insights into partner mindsets, perceptions, and behaviors.

Qualitative and Quantitative Data Researcher

* Design qualitative and quantitative studies.
* Create insights from data analysis, e.g., CI/market research projects or secondary data, to assess audience understanding, SWOT analysis, and positioning versus competitors.
* Translate data into relevant insights to answer business questions.
* Develop impactful presentations and reports with strategic guidance.

Project Management, Direction, and Delivery

* Provide guidance and direction for research/insight projects.
* Challenge project goals, timelines, and budgets in meetings.
* Manage project timelines internally and with clients, identifying key milestones.

Opportunity Seeker, Business Development & Networking

* Understand clients' business strategies, cultures, and products.

Commercial Action and Financial Accountability

* Estimate and communicate budget requirements to account teams.
* Manage scope changes effectively.
* Build simple budgets and participate in pitch delivery.


What you'll need to have ...

* Experience in healthcare market research, at a senior level (Senior Research Manager/Associate Director or equivalent).
* Experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
* Proficiency in moderation, questionnaire, discussion guide, and screener writing.
* Experience with primary and secondary research.
* Expertise in multiple market research methodologies.
* Ability to translate data into insightful, engaging outputs.
* Proven moderation skills.
* Experience liaising directly with clients and managing projects through delivery.
* Experience with Google Analytics.
* Ability to manage multiple, changing projects.
* Understanding of healthcare and research compliance standards.
* Experience in the congress/events space.
* Experience working with AI on projects.
