Tooling Maintenance Technician Permanent Position We are seeking a skilled and proactive Tooling Maintenance Technician to join a global manufacturing organisation at their state-of-the-art facility. This is a hands-on role, combining tool fabrication with maintenance support for facilities, where youll play a key part in ensuring tools are ready and machines in good working order. Experience & Qualifications: Proven experience in precision machining, tool design and fabrication is ideal Hands on experience with planned and reactive maintenance of industrial machinery and facilities equipment Apprentice trained engineering qualification or equivalent technical certification. Key Responsibilities: Tool Fabrication: Manufacture and refurbish tooling to technical drawings using manual and CNC workshop equipment. Deliver to specification, on time, and to quality standards. Tool Design & Development: Collaborate with design teams to interpret engineering drawings and develop new tooling solutions that support evolving products, machinery, and processes. Maintenance Activities : Perform planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery and facilities equipment. Diagnose faults and implement effective repairs to minimise disruption. Innovation & Problem Solving : Provide timely, creative engineering solutions to manufacturing challenges. Propose and implement innovations to improve tooling and production processes. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to Manufacturing Excellence and Continuous Improvement initiatives. Support process optimisation and operational efficiency.
